our team is humbled and honored to assist the miracle league with their efforts to create the first miracle league complex in el paso, texas. the mission of the miracle league is to provide opportunities for all children to play baseball regardless of their ability. it is the heartfelt desire and dream of the disabled children in the community to dress in uniforms, make plays in the field, and round the bases just like their healthy peers. A significant missing component for these special children to realize their dream is a unique baseball complex which will help eliminate some potential safety hazards for players using wheelchairs or walkers.
alvidrez architecture inc. fully supports the valuable efforts of the miracle league and it is our heartfelt desire to provide these athletes with a complex that will enable them to enjoy america’s favorite past time on a new level. our design of the proposed el paso complex includes a custom-designed field with a cushioned rubberized turf to help prevent injuries, wheelchair accessible dugouts, a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to wheelchair-bound or visually impaired players, public support areas and concessions.
